Job summary

Red Funnel Limited is seeking a Software Developer to join our IT team on the Isle of Wight. You will design, build and support .NET-based applications, APIs and integrations that deliver real business value across customer and internal systems.

You will work with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions. A strong focus on quality, performance and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing software using C# and .NET in a commercial setting.
• Experience building or supporting APIs and integrations.
• Experience with ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Strong SQL Server and database skills.
• Experience using Git for source control.
• Experience working within a structured software development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, support and improve applications, APIs and integrations that deliver business value.

What you’ll be doing

As a Software Developer, you’ll help design, build, support and improve applications, APIs and integrations that deliver real business value.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Exposure to Power Platform and low-code technologies
• Experience supporting business-critical or customer-facing applications
