About the Project/Role

We are seeking a Software Developer with a strong focus on developing production-grade software, extensive experience with Azure services, and proficiency in Java, Python, and PySpark. You will manage a small team and collaborate with a third-party vendor to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Job Role Requirements

1. Own the development and services in design, development, coding, and testing.
2. Keep up to date with the latest development software.
3. Engage in hands-on development and follow coding standards.
4. Provide mentorship to the team and ensure adherence to development standards.
5. Build alliances and collaborate with other partner pillars within Kantar for shared goals.

Role Requirements

1. Experience in data processing applications.
2. Practical production experience in software implementation.
3. Experience working with high-level sophisticated problem definitions using algorithms.
4. Experience working in a distributed team.
5. Background in software development or a hands-on technical role.
6. Experience with Spark data processing.
7. Software architecture skills.
8. DevOps experience.
9. Strong understanding of data security, including encryption and decryption.
10. Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and collaborating with third-party vendors.
11. Soft skills: strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
12. Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
