We are seeking a motivated mid- to senior-level Software Developer to join the team. This position is suited to a developer with experience across the modern Microsoft and .NET technology stack who enjoys building reliable software and solving practical business challenges. You will have the opportunity to contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from early discussions and solution design through development, testing, launch and ongoing improvement. You will work with colleagues across the organisation, helping turn requirements into effective software while sharing technical knowledge and ideas. The team appreciates thoughtful innovation and supports developers in exploring creative approaches to their work. The working environment is professional but flexible, with an emphasis on delivering good outcomes rather than following unnecessary bureaucracy. This is a chance to make a meaningful contribution within an established business while continuing to develop your technical expertise.
Applicants should have professional software development experience at a mid- to senior level and a strong working knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem. Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET and MVC is important, along with familiarity with Microsoft Azure and contemporary development practices. Experience with DevOps approaches, GitLab and SQL Server will be beneficial. You should also be comfortable working with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The successful candidate will bring strong problem-solving abilities, sound organisation and clear communication skills. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, contribute constructively to technical conversations and manage your work responsibly. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for learning and innovation are highly valued.
Design, develop and maintain software solutions using C#, .NET and related Microsoft technologies. Work with .NET Core, ASP.NET and MVC to deliver robust applications that meet agreed requirements. Contribute to projects from conception through implementation, testing, completion and launch, collaborating with colleagues to clarify needs and recommend suitable technical solutions. Use Azure and relevant DevOps practices to support reliable development and delivery. Work with GitLab for source control and collaborate on code changes in line with team processes. Develop and maintain SQL Server functionality, and use HTML, CSS and JavaScript where required. Identify issues, investigate their causes and implement effective fixes. Share ideas, communicate progress and support continuous improvement across projects and development practices.
The package offers a salary of up to £65,000, together with a bonus and private healthcare. The role offers hybrid working, with the choice of a Leeds or Wetherby office, and the opportunity to take part in varied projects across the full development lifecycle. You will join an established, award-winning organisation that encourages collaboration, creativity and professional flexibility.
