Job Description:

EU Supply Chain is expanding its engineering team based out of Luxembourg, with new SDE roles, to build world-class production systems supporting its Inbound & Placement operations. You will work on cross-functional projects that are exploratory in nature, utilizing the latest technology for planning and optimization decisions. This role offers the opportunity to expand your domain knowledge by collaborating with top business intelligence engineers, product managers, and research scientists.

Our focus is on optimizing FC Bin storage capacity to minimize fulfillment costs. We are developing an in-house system in partnership with SCOT for storage cost optimization and inventory placement, employing cutting-edge technology for large-scale business planning and automation. We lead in Thought Leadership in Ideal Placement and Network Capacity Management, working alongside industry experts.

This role is ideal if:

  • You are a self-starter interested in architecting large-scale data processing systems with economic and optimization models.
  • You enjoy owning impactful initiatives with significant cost savings ($50M+).
  • You have experience improving team coding practices related to quality and security.
  • You aim to contribute to business goals with significant impact ($85M+).
  • You can communicate complex technical challenges effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are interested in transitioning into Applied Science or AI roles.
  • You want to work in a tech environment close to business challenges.
  • You seek to expand and optimize supply chain systems for new business initiatives.
  • You practice Test-Driven Development and Continuous Deployment.

Key responsibilities include designing end-to-end solutions for high-impact supply chain problems, experimenting with relevant technologies, applying Agile methodologies, collaborating across teams, and enhancing supply chain systems for emerging initiatives.

About the team:

Supply Chain Engineering comprises SDEs, AS, and BIEs focused on building features for EU Inbound & Placement, maintaining existing products, and continually improving internal and SCOT products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in professional software development (non-internship).
  • Experience designing or architecting scalable, reliable systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations.
