Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Soft Services Supervisor to manage and improve soft facilities across several sites in England, including cleaning, catering, reception, waste and more. The role involves supervising a team and ensuring safety, quality and KPI adherence.

Ideally, candidates will have supervisory experience in facilities or related fields, with relevant certifications such as BICSc or Health & Safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of workplace or commercial cleaning, at a supervisory level or above would be an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience of providing good customer service.
• Methodical and meticulous approach to work.
• Be able to read and speak English to ensure safe working practices are followed.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, or a similar role (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSc, Health & Safety) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day delivery of a range of Soft FM services across one or more sites.
• Take an active role in completing tasks, working with the Site Facilities Team.
• Ensure Soft FM Services meet standards and KPI parameters.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage, schedule and complete a Periodic Task Programme.
• Provide supervision and guidance to the Site Facilities Team to drive engagement and service excellence.

About The Role:

The Soft Services Supervisor is responsible for the effective management, delivery, and continuous improvement of all soft facilities management services across several sites in England. This includes services such as cleaning, catering, reception, waste management, landscaping, pest control, and other non-technical support services to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our client.

• Supervise the day-to-day delivery of range of Soft FM services, across one or more sites.
• Take an active role in the completion of tasks, working alongside the Site Facilities Team.
• Ensure Soft FM Services meet the agreed standards, and within the KPI parameters.
• Conduct regular inspections and complete audits to maintain quality standards.
• Participate with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage, schedule and complete an effective Periodic Task Programme.
• Provide supervision and guidance to the Site Facilities Team, consisting of Cleaning Operatives, Facilities Assistants, Hospitality Assistants and Reception Assistants, ensuring a culture of high employee engagement, service excellence and participation with the overall EMCOR UK Account objectives.
