Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is recruiting Facilities Operatives to deliver a high quality Soft FM service in schools across Renfrewshire. The role covers cleaning, catering, school crossing patrol, security and related duties with a flexible, customer‑focused approach.

Part time and permanent; you will work at site level, join a team, undertake training as needed, hold literacy, numeracy and IT skills, and aim to develop REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene certification.

Qualifications

• Must have literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Willing to undertake training as required.
• REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high quality Soft FM service including cleaning, catering, school crossing patrol and security.
• Work at site level with a flexible, customer‑focused approach and be a team player.
• Undertake training and development as required to support service delivery.
