Leicester City Council is seeking a Specialist Adult Social Worker to support people experiencing hoarding. The role involves working in a locality-based social care team with a strengths-based approach to help individuals live as independently as possible.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with Social Work England.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support for people experiencing hoarding using a strengths-based approach.
• Work with housing officers, fire and rescue services, environmental health, psychiatric teams and community partners.
• Collaborate with teams across social care, Health, Probation, Fire services and Housing to co-create holistic care plans.
