Job summary

Liquid Personnel is seeking a qualified Social Worker in Dudley to join the Referral and Assessment Team. You will manage referrals, conduct initial assessments, and ensure protection and support for children and families.

Responsibilities include home visits, inter-agency liaison, and reporting with timely actions. Registration with Social Work England, UK work eligibility, and a valid UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Social Work England registration required.
• Degree level in Social Work or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Receive and screen referrals from professionals, families, or the public.
• Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.
• Decide on intervention under Section 17 or Section 47.
• Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.
• Liaise with police, schools, health services and agencies.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for action.
• Escalate cases to child protection teams when needed.
• Maintain accurate records and timely responses.
