Delta Wellbeing Ltd in Carmarthen is seeking a registered Social Worker to join the Community Mental Health Team on a fixed-term basis until July 2027. The role involves managing a caseload of adults with mental health needs, coordinating care, and delivering person-centred interventions within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Applicants should hold a Degree in Social Work (or DipSW/CQSW), be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS, and have experience or interest in adult mental health services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Social Worker to join Carmarthenshire's well-established Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) on a temporary basis until July 2027.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health services across the Carmarthen area. The post is available as maternity leave cover and offers valuable experience for both experienced practitioners and those at the beginning of their social work career.
We are looking for a registered Social Worker (Degree in Social Work, DipSW or CQSW) who is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of people experiencing mental health difficulties. Applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service. Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs and complex circumstances would be advantageous.

The Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification is desirable, and additional remuneration is available for those undertaking AMHP duties.

The 'Framework' recognises Social Workers who have completed their consolidation programme, and who routinely undertake complex social work practice. It also recognises those Social Workers who undertake relevant post qualifying, CPD programmes and research, which could include being a Practice Educator who has 2nd and 3rd year Students, or an AMHP licenced and practicing within the Authority.
An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk
