Location: Blackpool Council Bickerstaffe Offices

Rate: £30.66 per hour

Hours: Mon to Thurs, 9am – 5pm & Fridays, 9am – 4.30pm

Job Overview:

An exciting opportunity to work within the Adult Social Care Learning Disability Team in Blackpool. The team supports adults and young people with learning disabilities, providing direct support and commissioning services.

Responsibilities:

• Working with adults and young people with learning disabilities
• Completing Care Act Assessments and reviews
• Collaborating with NHS and council staff
• Managing safeguarding, risk, and care plans

Requirements include excellent communication, organisational skills, knowledge of the Care Act 2014, and experience in safeguarding and care management. Candidates must have Social Work England registration, a UK driving license, and a social work degree or equivalent.
