Job Title: Social Worker – Adult’s Community
Location: Blackpool Council
Rate: £30.66 per hour

An exciting opportunity has become available in Blackpool for a Social Worker in the Adult’s Community Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking assessments and reviews
  • Commissioning services according to departmental policies and statutory guidance such as The Care Act (2014)
  • Participating in safeguarding procedures and acting as Safeguarding Lead
  • Collaborating with other teams, providers, carers, and external agencies to deliver outcome-focused services
  • Ensuring compliance with departmental policies, the HCPC Code of Conduct, and the Care Act
  • Empowering individuals to make informed choices
  • Maintaining knowledge of current social care issues
  • Participating in supervision and staff meetings
