Job summary

Highland Council seeks a qualified Social Worker to provide statutory reports for the Courts and Parole Board. You will supervise individuals under statutory supervision, contributing to public protection and community safety.

You will deliver evidence-based programmes such as the Caledonian System or MF2C for male perpetrators, working to reduce reoffending. A Driving licence is required and PVG checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council as Social Worker.
• Full driving licence.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on nationality and recent residency history.

Responsibilities

• Provide statutory reports for the Courts and Parole Board.
• Supervise and work with individuals subject to statutory supervision to reduce reoffending and promote public protection.
• Deliver the Caledonian System (CS) or other programmes for male perpetrators of domestic abuse and MF2C or other programmes for male perpetrators of sexual offending.
• Contribute to risk management and public protection.
