Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited in Woking, Surrey, is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Partnership (MASH) Team. The role focuses on safeguarding and well-being of children and families, with a competitive hourly rate of £42 (Umbrella).

You will conduct initial assessments, coordinate with health, education and police, develop care plans, maintain records, and support families to build resilience.

Qualifications

• A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in child protection or safeguarding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in assessment and understanding of policy frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and investigations to identify needs and risks.
• Collaborate with health, education and police to coordinate safeguarding responses.
• Develop and implement care plans addressing identified needs.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Provide guidance to families to promote resilience and independence.
