Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting a dedicated Social Worker for the Family Help Service Team in Slough. The role is full-time with a hybrid working model, offering a competitive salary and a focus on safeguarding and family-centered practice.

You will work with children and families, conducting assessments, coordinating plans, and collaborating with partner agencies to drive positive outcomes. Applicants must be registered Social Workers with experience in children’s social care and a commitment

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in children’s social care and family-related work.
• Ability to assess needs, plan interventions and monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children and families, managing cases from assessment to intervention.
• Conduct Family Help assessments and coordinate effective plans with partners.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including safeguarding and risk management work.
• Use relationship-based practice to understand lived experiences and voices of children.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and professional development.
