Job summary

Achieving for Children in Windsor and Maidenhead is recruiting a Social Worker to serve as the first point of contact for children and families. You will manage a varied caseload, lead swift assessments, and conduct targeted direct work to build safety plans and manage risk at critical times.

The role offers excellent compensation with a salary up to £50,932 per year plus a retention bonus, generous leave, and supportive team dynamics focused on early intervention.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional social work qualification.
• Active Social Work England registration.
• Full UK Driver’s Licence and access to a car.
• Existing right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Lead swift, vital assessments and targeted direct work for safety plans.
• Manage a varied caseload of children and families.
• Visit families across the borough to support early intervention and risk management.
