Job summary

We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker (or nearing completion) to join the Assessment Team at an Outstanding Local Authority. You will manage a varied caseload and engage with families from referral to support planning.

Caseloads are held through the assessment period with children then transferring to the Case Management Team, Children Looked After Team, Court Team, or stepping down into Early Help. 37 hours and 52.14 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker (or nearing completion).

• Case hold for the duration of the assessment.
• Engage with families from referral and plan next steps.
• Transfer of children to Case Management Team or Children Looked After Team after assessment.
