Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team in Bradford. This frontline role involves conducting initial assessments, responding to referrals, and ensuring safeguarding interventions for children and families.

You will work with families and multi‑agency professionals to assess risk, determine thresholds and next steps, and maintain accurate case records to support timely service planning.

Qualifications

• Social Work England registration.
• Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Post-qualified experience in duty and assessment, safeguarding, or statutory children’s services.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new referrals and complete initial assessments
• Make informed decisions regarding thresholds and next steps
• Work closely with families and multi-agency professionals to assess risk and need
• Ensure timely safeguarding actions and appropriate service planning
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
