Elysium Healthcare in Cullompton, Devon, is recruiting a Social Worker to join the Woodmill unit. You will manage a complex caseload, perform social care and risk assessments, and contribute to discharge planning for patients stepping down through recovery.
You will collaborate with the MDT, families, and safeguarding processes, report to the Safeguarding Lead, and access a comprehensive benefits package and training opportunities.

With previous experience from the NHS or private care, you can join the multidisciplinary team at The Woodmill, Cullompton, which has a strong emphasis on teamwork and where you will provide care for patients as they step down through their recovery.
As a Social Worker you will manage a complex caseload and be responsible for social care assessments, risk assessments, facilitating group activities, and contributing to ICR meetings. You will support service users to make viable plans for their future.
You will report to the Safeguarding Lead and will manage internal investigations and liaise with home authorities for service users during their admission and discharge process. You will also have access to a range of training opportunities to support your professional development.

The Woodmill is an 18-bed unit that creates a pathway for patients to step down through their recovery. Ivy is a 6-bed admission area and Rose is a 12-bed rehabilitation area, with the option to flex within the 12-bed area to a four-bed section that can create a further step down with a separate entrance for patients progressing well and preparing for discharge to the community.
The aim of the service is to support women to improve their self-worth, build a better quality of life, and equip them with the skills needed for community living and increased independence.
