As a Social Worker within the Children with Disabilities Team, you will work with children and families across a range of statutory interventions, including:
You will undertake assessments, care planning and intervention work to ensure children receive the right support at the right time. The role also involves assessing eligibility for short breaks and supporting access to appropriate packages of care for children with disabilities and complex needs.
The team is based at Wythenshawe, in the south of the city. The service operates a largely office-based model to promote collaboration, team identity, resilience and peer support, while allowing flexibility where appropriate.
