Job summary

Liquid Personnel’s client is seeking a Social Worker to join the Child Protection Team in Dorchester, Dorset. You will assess children and families, develop protection plans with multi-agency colleagues, and undertake statutory visits.

You will attend conferences and court proceedings, maintain accurate records, advocate for children's rights, liaise with schools and health services, and provide written reports for legal proceedings.

Qualifications

• Registration with Social Work England.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Post-qualified experience.
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.

• Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure progress and compliance with care plans.
• Advocate for the rights and welfare of children and young people.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
