Bidvane in Lincolnshire is seeking a permanent Social Worker for the Children with Disabilities Team. You will assess, plan and implement care packages for children aged 0–18 with complex needs, including safeguarding and court-related work.

Travel across Lincolnshire is required, with hybrid working options and ongoing professional supervision. The role requires Social Work England registration, a recognised social work qualification, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Formación

• Recognised social work qualification.
• Social Work England registration.
• Criminal record check.
• Ability to travel across Lincolnshire as required.
• Experience with children with disabilities is a plus (nice to have).

Responsabilidades

• Manage cases from assessment through ongoing intervention, providing continuity for children and families.
• Assess social care needs and plan and review packages of care.
• Undertake Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need planning, Child Protection work and Children in Care responsibilities.
• Contribute to court proceedings and related work, including Court of Protection matters.
• Work directly with children, families and partner agencies, coordinating with others.
• Manage complex cases and lead work from start to finish, including transitions to adult care.
• Co-work complex cases with experienced social workers where appropriate.
• Develop specialist practice in mental capacity, deprivation of liberty and transition planning.
• Work with schools, CAMHS, community nursing, SEND colleagues and occupational therapists.
• Mentor less experienced staff and support or lead students on placement.
• Be based in Lincoln or Sleaford and travel across Lincolnshire as required.
