Job summary

North Lincolnshire Council seeks a motivated Social Worker to join our Children\'s Disability Social Work Team. You will undertake assessments, form care plans and interventions to support positive outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of children in need and those subject to child protection plans, coordinating with partners, and contributing to safeguarding across North Lincolnshire with flexible travel as required. DBS enhanced check will be required.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered with Social Work England.
• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practice and child development.
• Ability to build effective relationships with children, families and partners.
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
• Able to manage workload independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and prepare reports for children in need and those on child protection plans.
• Participate in multi-agency meetings and safeguard work with partner agencies.
• Support families through relationship-based practice and travel across North Lincolnshire when required.
• Manage caseloads of children in care, ensuring positive outcomes.
