Job Opportunity: Social Worker

Please note: This is a Long Term Temporary position starting ASAP.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Social Work
• SWE Registration
• Right to work within the UK

Position to work in the children’s disability team.

Job Purpose:

Provide a local professional social care service for children, young people, and families in need.

Contribute to a range of voluntary and statutory social work activities, carrying out professional social work tasks in accordance with recognised procedures, evidence-based practice, and ethical standards.

Manage a caseload of children in need, at risk of significant harm, and/or looked after, ensuring legislative and procedural compliance for the best outcomes.

Must Haves:

• A professional qualification in social work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS/Update service
• References covering the last 5 years of employment
