We are currently looking to recruit motivated, child-focused, and enthusiastic social workers to join our Child Looked After Service in Middlesbrough.
The candidate will need a full valid driving licence and be registered with Social Work England.
You will have experience in Safeguarding, working with Children Looked After, Adoption, and supporting children through transition, including reunification plans.
Your main duties will include undertaking statutory home visits within timescales and demonstrating excellent recording and timekeeping skills. You should have experience and be highly skilled in undertaking direct work with children. You will be expected to have good knowledge and understanding of the Child Looked After processes.
You will be expected to prepare reports for and attend Child Looked After reviews, hold monthly Care Team meetings, and record them in a timely manner. You will also attend strategy meetings and stability meetings.
