Job summary

Slough Children First is seeking a Social Worker for the Thrive 0-18 team in Slough. You will build relationships with children and young people, support care planning, safeguarding, and strive for permanency through adoption or long-term care.

The role is hybrid, with at least three days in the office each week. Applicants must be Social Work England registered with a professional qualification and have experience in a busy service. Salary range is £44,873–£50,238 per year.

Qualifications

• Social Work England registered social worker with a professional social work qualification, or equivalent.
• Experience in a busy service.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with in-office days.

Responsibilities

• Build good relationships with children and young people to support care planning and safeguarding.
• Care plan, safeguard, and support to achieve best potential.
• Work with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children when required.
