Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Permanence/LAC Team in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The role centers on securing permanence for looked-after children and ensuring they feel safe and supported to reach their potential.

The position is full-time with hybrid working; office attendance is required three days per week, with home working and local visits as needed. SW England registration and UK work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience writing CPRs (child permanence reports) under supervision.
• Knowledge of work with children in care and family finding and matching with adopters, including court reports and support plans.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.

Social Worker required for work within the Permanence/LAC Team in the picturesque county of Gloucestershire based in Stroud. 37 hrs a week. Competitive rates of pay up to £42 ph. The team has a strong management structure. Flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Our Children in Care team based in Stroud is looking for an experienced Social Worker who understands the need for permanence for young people and who will demonstrate grit and tenacity to ensure young people feel safe and secure to enable them to achieve their potential.

• It is essential that candidates have experience or are skilled at writing CPR's (child permanence report) under supervision.
• They need to have knowledge and practice of working with children in care and considering their needs fully, a good understanding of family finding and matching with adopters, including completion of relevant Court reports and support plans.
• It is essential that candidates have good communication and strong report writing skills.

The role is full time where home working opportunities are available with the expectation that workers will come into the office 3 days per week and visit people to undertake the work when needed. This is subject to change and the candidate should be flexible to meet the Teams' needs.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
