Job summary

Baltimore Consulting is recruiting a Social Worker for a 6-month interim assignment in the North-West, with hybrid working and an immediate start. You'll support children subject to Child Protection Plans, lead safeguarding interventions and deliver high-quality assessments to families, joining a busy Childrens Services team at a pivotal time.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England Registration.
• Strong experience within Childrener's Safeguarding and Child Protection services.
• Experience in Front Door, Referral & Assessment, or safeguarding teams.
• Proven ability managing Complex Assessments and risk-based interventions.
• Excellent communication, recording and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Initial Assessments and Referral & Assessment work within frontline services.
• Manage Child Protection Enquiries and children subject to Child Protection Plans.
• Deliver effective Safeguarding Interventions to support vulnerable children and young people.
• Contribute to Family Help and Court Work where required.
• Build strong Multi-Agency Partnerships to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
