Job summary

Knowsley Council is recruiting Newly Qualified & Experienced Social Workers to support adults with diverse needs. You'll conduct strengths-based assessments, develop person-centred plans, and undertake safeguarding enquiries with professional judgement.

Qualifications

  • Newly Qualified & Experienced Social Workers welcomed.
  • Relevant social work qualification and registration required.

About the Role

As a Generic Social Worker within Adult Social Care, you will:

  • Work with adults with a wide range of needs, including mental health, physical disabilities, older adults, and carers.
  • Complete strengths-based assessments and develop person centred support plans.
  • Undertake safeguarding enquiries, applying professional curiosity and sound judgement.
  • Work collaboratively with health partners, voluntary agencies, carers and families.
  • Promote independence, wellbeing and choice, in line with the Care Act 2014.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment where learning and reflective practice are encouraged.
