Job summary

Knowsley Council is seeking Newly Qualified & Experienced Social Workers to join Adult Social Care. You will assess and support adults with diverse needs, undertake safeguarding, and work closely with health partners and families.

  • Salary: Pay Band J - £37,280 to £39,152 per annum Pay Band K - £39,862 to £41,771 per annum Pay Band L - £42,839 to £44,075 per annum
  • Location: Hybrid Working, Knowsley Council, Borough Wide
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Working Pattern: Full Time
  • Hours: 36 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Generic Social Worker within Adult Social Care, you will:

Work with adults with a wide range of needs, including mental health, physical disabilities, older adults, and carers.

Complete strengths-based assessments and develop person centred support plans.

Undertake safeguarding enquiries, applying professional curiosity and sound judgement.

Work collaboratively with health partners, voluntary agencies, carers and families.

Promote independence, wellbeing and choice, in line with the Care Act 2014.

Contribute to a positive team environment where learning and reflective practice are encouraged.
