Job summary

Knowsley Council is seeking a Generic Social Worker in Adult Social Care to join a supportive team. You will work with adults with diverse needs, complete strengths-based assessments, and develop person-centred support plans, while safeguarding and collaborating with health partners and families.

• Salary: Pay Band J - £37,280 to £39,152 per annum Pay Band K - £39,862 to £41,771 per annum Pay Band L - £42,839 to £44,075 per annum

About the Role

As a Generic Social Worker within Adult Social Care, you will:

• Complete strengths-based assessments and develop person centred support plans.
• Undertake safeguarding enquiries, applying professional curiosity and sound judgement.
• Work collaboratively with health partners, voluntary agencies, carers and families.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and choice, in line with the Care Act 2014.
• Contribute to a positive team environment where learning and reflective practice are encouraged.
