We are looking for a Social Work England registered professional with substantial experience and a genuine commitment to supporting adults within the community. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred services while helping to shape and develop practice within the team.

Supervisory or mentoring experience is essential, as you will be expected to support colleagues, contribute to professional development, and promote a positive, learning-focused team culture. What you’ll be doing:

  • Working within theCare Act 2014framework
  • Carrying out person-centred assessments in community and hospital settings
  • Undertaking court work, including preparing reports, presenting evidence, and working within legal frameworks to support safeguarding and best outcomes for individuals
  • Co-producing care and support plans, and reviewing outcomes
  • Participating in the duty rota to respond to urgent and complex situations

What you’ll bring:

  • A strong understanding of adult social care legislation, including theMental Capacity Act 2005,Care Act 2014, andDeprivation of Liberty Safeguards
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong IT and written skills to maintain accurate records and support performance monitoring
  • A flexible, proactive approach to working under pressure
  • Afull driving licence—essential due to the wide geographical area covered (mileage allowance provided)
