London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join ICAS, the Information Contact and Assessment Service. You will undertake s.9 Care Act Assessments for adults and deliver person-centred, preventative care planning.
You will work with multiple teams, engage partners, and participate in the duty rota, with hybrid working: on site three days a week and two days at home.

Information Contact and Assessment Service; ICAS, is a front door social care team where workers complete assessments, initial safeguarding concerns, mental capacity assessments, preventative assessments, and assess and review low level equipment provision. We triage a large volume of referrals from a variety of sources which puts huge demands on our duty service. We need to be knowledgeable about the range of teams within adult social care, their remit and referral routes. We need to be aware of current community resources to support our preventative offer and to work co-operatively and collaboratively with our colleagues in AgeUK Lambeth.
