We currently have positions available within the South East Locality Team, providing Statutory Social Work Services around South East Northumberland. These roles offer a variety of experiences and opportunities.
Using the Signs of Safety model, Northumberland is a family and child-focused Authority with strong management and leadership (Ofsted reported!). Our staff describe working here as being part of a second family due to our supportive ethos and flexibility.
You will manage a mixed caseload of children in various circumstances (CIN/CP/LAC) and provide direct social work interventions to children, young people, and their families in the community. We seek passionate safeguarding children social workers.
