Job summary

Kier Group in London is seeking a Social Sustainability Manager to support our Natural Resources team, with a focus on water and nuclear contracts. You will drive social value across projects and offices, building relationships with stakeholders to embed social value in delivery and evidenced outcomes.

This role involves travel across the UK, regular collaboration with operational teams and contract leads, and ensuring alignment with client priorities while maintaining governance and reporting

Qualifications

• You have demonstrable experience of supporting or delivering social impact projects and driving social value outcomes, ideally within infrastructure, utilities, water, environmental or community-focused programmes

Responsibilities

• Providing consistent coordination and support to contracts, helping teams embed social value into project planning, delivery and client reporting
• Tracking, reporting and evidencing social value outcomes for internal governance and client requirements, ensuring clear audit trails and contract compliance
• Building strong relationships with operational, commercial, bid, client, supply chain and community stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver meaningful outcomes
• Supporting initiatives linked to employment, skills, education, community investment, volunteering and local supply chain engagement across the communities where we work
• Championnig social value awareness and best practice across Natural Resources, sharing learning and helping replicate successful initiatives across contracts
