Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure in Inverness is seeking a Social Value Manager to lead and deliver social value initiatives across the SSEN framework projects in the Highlands, ensuring commitments are achieved and integrated with delivery teams.

You will collaborate with clients, local communities, schools and charities to design and monitor programmes that maximise social, economic and environmental benefits, reporting progress and continuously improving outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering social value programmes within infrastructure, construction, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of social value principles and their application within project environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with local communities and developing community-focused initiatives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience monitoring, measuring, and reporting social value outcomes and impacts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Social Value Manager to join our team, supporting the delivery of projects across the SSEN framework in the Highlands. As part of the Social Value team, you will play a key role in developing, managing, and delivering social value initiatives that leave a lasting positive impact. Skills, Experience And Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences.

About The Energy Business Unit

We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.

Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying, and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair, and refurbishment services.
