Job summary

Rogers McHugh Recruitment in the Greater Manchester region is seeking a Business Development & Social Value Manager for a construction client. The role supports the Managing Director, leads business development, tender submissions, frameworks and the delivery of social value commitments.

You will build relationships with clients and partners, coordinate across internal teams, and monitor KPIs to drive growth and social impact.

Qualifications

Experience in construction or a similar sector is preferred.
Strong written communication and tender-writing skills are essential.
Ability to build relationships with clients, consultants and framework providers.
Organised, commercially aware and able to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the company's Social Value strategy.
Coordinate Social Value commitments across frameworks and projects.
Attend client and framework Social Value meetings and prepare planning statements.
Coordinate apprenticeship and employment commitments; manage Work Experience/ placements.
Maintain CRM database and update client engagement plans.
Support business development strategy and identify new opportunities.
Prepare high-quality tender submissions and coordinate inputs from operations.
Monitor KPIs and report Social Value progress to management.
