Role - Social Sciences Teacher

Location - Ashford

Start Date - September 2025

Hours - Full time

Salary - 31,650 - 49,084 depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in the Ashford area to recruit an outstanding Social Sciences Teacher for a September start. The position is full time. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Social Sciences across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school setting.

The role includes:

1. Planning and delivering Social Sciences lessons across KS3 and KS4
2. Monitoring student progress and providing additional support to ensure achievement
3. Collaborating with the Social Sciences Department, attending meetings and CPD training as required

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students in a secondary school
3. Excellent behaviour management skills
4. Strong subject knowledge and passion for Social Sciences
5. Legal right to work in the UK
6. Willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references
