Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Social Planning & Effectiveness Manager to lead our social strategy across paid and organic content. You will shape planning, measurement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive brand and commercial outcomes.

You’ll translate objectives into measurable social plans, oversee paid campaigns, and partner with Media, PR, and Brand teams to improve social performance and business impact.

What you’ll be doing

As the Social Planning & Effectiveness Manager at Boots, you will lead the strategic direction of our social media initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial objectives. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our paid social content strategy and driving measurable business impact through effective planning and execution. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will enhance our social performance and contribute to the overall success of the Social, Content & Influencer function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual, quarterly, and seasonal planning process for social media.

• Knowledge of creative testing and optimisation frameworks.
• Background in leading and developing teams in a marketing environment.
