The CBS Sports Social Media team creates and distributes all content posted from CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network, and CBS Sports Digital's social media channels. In a sports media landscape cluttered with noise, we pride ourselves on building creative concepts that resonate with our audience and embody our brand values.

With our rights acquisition of numerous soccer properties, CBS Sports is assembling a team to lead our soccer coverage on social media.

Is this the role for you?

As a Social Media Producer for CBS Sports Golazo, you'll be at the forefront of connecting with football fans worldwide through engaging, social-first video and graphics.

This role involves hands-on video editing, design, and social publishing. Your main tasks include editing short-form content in Adobe Premiere, publishing real-time clips from live matches and studio shows, and creating original videos that tell football stories. Content should feel native to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

We're seeking someone passionate about football, fluent in both men's and women's games, with a strong editorial sense for what resonates with fans.

What will you be doing?

• Edit and publish real-time short-form videos from studio shows, live matches, and podcasts.
• Create social-first videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Identify trending stories and impactful moments to boost engagement and conversations.
• Quickly produce engaging edits in Premiere under tight deadlines.
• Capture behind-the-scenes and on-site content with CBS Sports talent to deepen fan engagement.
• Use Photoshop graphic templates to enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with social producers to develop and create editorial and promotional content from scratch.

What are we looking for?

• 1-3 years of experience managing branded social media accounts focusing on football content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (mandatory) and familiarity with Photoshop.
• A deep passion for global football, including both men's and women's games.
• Experience creating and publishing content across major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X); knowledge of YouTube is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond swiftly to football news and events.
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail and grammar.
• Keen eye for pacing, visuals, and storytelling.
• Excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills, especially with talent and team members.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to cover prime-time matches.
