A creative agency in the events industry is seeking a Social Media Strategist to join their team. This role involves advising on social channels, generating event coverage, and creating effective content. This agency are an Employee Owned Trust (EOT) who have been producing world class events and experiential activations for over twenty years. They are well known for their creative, entrepreneurial approach and always deliver memorable experiences for the household consumer brands they represent. They are based in South West London and the team (45 people) are motivated, friendly and love what they do.
About the Role
This is a completely new position in the business that's been created due to the changing nature of the events industry. It is no longer enough to simply design and deliver an event or brand activation, clients now demand a digital/social element to help amplify their message. That's where you come in...
Working closely with both the client services and creative teams, you will advise on what channels are most effective for each client and event they run. For example, if they set up an experience for a drinks brand at a festival, you'll generate coverage before, during and after the event via TikTok, Instagram, X etc. You'll decide which social channels work best at each stage and help create the content required with the most effective messaging.
