Social Media Marketing Manager

Location- UK or other part of Europe

Role Overview

IWG is seeking an experienced marketing professional to support the scalable rollout of our local social media initiatives.

As a key member of the campaign team, you will play a critical role in accelerating and elevating our local social media implementation. We're looking for a highly dynamic, data-driven, and commercially minded marketer who can bring both strategic insight and hands-on execution to the role.

IWG operates on a global scale and is well-established in key markets. Our goal is to strengthen our presence in these regions while also expanding into new territories. This role will help ensure our market-level social media efforts are optimized for audience reach, brand consistency, and platform performance—within a centralized and structured framework.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Owns and manages relationship with local social media agencies
  • Strategy of local expansion programme > plan, pitch and onboard new markets
  • Content and platforms strategy for live markets
  • Connected to social media agencies across the world
  1. Monitors monthly performance of live markets, to tracks against targets
  • Monthly review of performance – content, audience, cost
  • Set up each agency to succeed with MoM progress
  • Report back to Head of campaign with monthly evaluation and next month recommendation at account level
  1. Drives programme to deliver ROI and growth
  • Ensure effectiveness of organic social strategy
  • Demonstrate value of local social

Qualifications

  • +5 years of experience in marketing
  • Proven track record in project management and social media strategy
  • Background in working within large, commercially focused organizations across diverse cultures
  • Exceptionally organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output
  • Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Proactive problem-solver with the agility to respond quickly and add genuine value to initiatives
  • Confident communicator, experienced in managing expectations and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content that drives engagement
