Job description

TALA, founded in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley, is a digital-first, multichannel women’s athleisure brand with a strong organic social media presence. We are a rapidly growing company, recently securing a £5m funding round and preparing to open our first flagship store on Carnaby Street, London.


We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our creative team in Vauxhall, London. Reporting to the Head of Social Media, you will be responsible for managing our organic social channels, balancing creativity with commercial objectives, and maintaining a social-first approach.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Channel Strategy Execution: Manage community engagement and posting schedules on Instagram and TikTok, with growth targets based on followers, engagement, reach, and conversions. Knowledge of LinkedIn and Pinterest is a plus.
  2. Channel Maintenance: Ensure the health of social channels through scheduling, content creation, copywriting, community management, and sourcing user-generated content. Note: Content scheduling is required every weekend.
  3. Trend Monitoring: Keep abreast of social media trends and viral content to create relevant posts.
  4. Content Creation: Develop high-quality content for Instagram and other channels, from ideation to execution.
  5. Campaign Support: Assist with content planning, shooting, and rollout. Occasional on-set presence may be required.
  6. Reporting & Analysis: Provide performance reports and insights regularly, supporting data visualization and interpretation.
  7. Support Functions: Contribute to various team tasks such as content creation, copywriting, and editing as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing professional social media accounts.
  • Demonstrable contributions to account growth and aesthetic development.
  • Experience creating engaging content, from concept to editing.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of the brand and customer base, with enthusiasm for our mission.
  • Driven, solutions-oriented, and a team player.
