Key responsibilities

  • Implement the firm’s social media channel strategy – Leverage data, trends, and our marketing plan to design and execute a strategy that enhances brand awareness and drives performance across our primary social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, and X).
  • Develop and oversee the social media content strategy – Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other teams to ensure content is engaging, on-brand, and optimised for each platform. And work closely with other marketing functions (e.g., digital, PR, content, and events) to ensure a cohesive approach to social media across all channels and initiatives.
  • Advocate for social media innovation within the firm – Champion the role of social media internally, encouraging individuals and departments to incorporate social media approaches into their daily work and broader business activities.
  • Manage the paid media plan and budget – Collaborate with the firm’s media agency to implement, monitor, and optimise advertising campaigns, ensuring maximum effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Crisis management and reputation monitoring – Lead efforts in handling any social media crises or sensitive issues, ensuring the brand’s reputation is safeguarded across all platforms.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends – Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging social media trends, technologies, and platform features, ensuring PA stays at the forefront of social media innovation.
  • Manage relationships with external partners – Build and maintain relationships with social media platforms, external agencies, and third-party vendors to enhance strategy execution and campaign results.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in B2B social media – Proven track record in managing and driving successful social media strategies across a variety of platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.), with a strong understanding of how to leverage each channel effectively.
  • Experience with employee advocacy programmes – Knowledge and experience in driving employee advocacy initiatives to amplify the brand’s social media presence.
  • Experience with paid media – Proven experience in managing paid media campaigns, including budget allocation, strategy execution, and optimisation to drive measurable results.
  • Stakeholder management skills – Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively with peers across the business, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and business goals.
  • Strong project and programme management skills – Ability to manage multiple social media initiatives and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and successful execution of strategies.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and represent the brand effectively across all social media channels.

We know the skill-gap and ‘somewhat need to tick every box’ can get in the way of meeting brilliant candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply – we’d love to hear from you.
