The role

We seek a talented, creative individual to join Manchester Airport's Social Media Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be the online face of the airport, contributing to the growth of our social media channels. Join an expanding team at an exciting time.

Key Responsibilities

Content:

• Plan, create, edit, and execute content for an audience of 600k+ on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, attracting attention and positive engagement.
• Manage the content calendar with another Social Media Executive to ensure consistent content delivery.
• Understand each social media channel's unique purpose and optimize content accordingly.
• Schedule content using Sprout Social.
• Write copy aligned with our tone of voice and audience.
• Create proactive content aligned with strategy and reactive content based on trends.
• Monitor content performance and provide insights to the Social Media Lead.
• Collaborate with stakeholders like airlines, retailers, MANTP, and marketing to support their objectives.

Community Management:

• Respond to customer inquiries and feedback.
• Maintain relationships with social media audiences, including plane spotters and airport advocates.

What will make you successful in the role?

We seek a proactive, creative individual with excellent time management and organizational skills. A passion for social media and industry trend awareness is essential. Technical skills desirable include:

• At least 1 year of social media experience.
• Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
• Skills in video capturing and editing using Canva, CapCut, and Adobe.
