We have a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join our Digital team based at one of our racecourse hubs being the storyteller of the brand driving storytelling, engagement, and audience growth.

The Social Media Executivewill

• Execute a group-wide social strategy to drive audience growth, engagement, and revenue.
• Grow our social following and boost engagement across all platforms.
• Elevate brand awareness and positive sentiment for the group and the sport.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, and regional teams to align content with goals.
• Own the daily publishing schedule and support major event coverage.
• Input ideas and support development of the content plans within our team.
• Report weekly on performance, trends, and insights.
• Build relationships with key social stakeholders and external partners.
• Travel across the country to cover events, including weekends and bank holidays

About you

• Strong understanding of social platforms and publishing best practices to drive growth.
• Knows what content works where — formats, tone, and trends.
• 1–2 years’ experience managing social media for a consumer-facing brand.
• Confident working cross-functionally and with external partners/agencies.
• Strong storytelling skills with a flair for digital-first content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• A true team player — collaborative, proactive, and hands-on.
• Passionate about social media and always on top of the latest trends.
• Quick-thinking, adaptable, and thrives under pressure.
• A good knowledge of horse racing.
