Role: Social Media & Community Assistant

Location: 3 days in central London office

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

·Assist Social Media Manager in development of creative and engaging content for social media channels, including but not limited to text posts, images and videos.

·Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to align content with overall brand messaging and marketing campaigns.

·Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for all marketing campaigns and initiatives.

·Stay informed about industry trends and leverage them to create relevant and shareable content.

Influencer:

·Assist with facilitating campaign mailers, manage gifting lists and handle the logistics of mailing out products to influencers.

·Identifying new talent to add to our database.

·Tracking and saving of all influencer content across social channels.

Community & Customer Services Management:

·Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on following platforms - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and customer services inbox and website app.

·Foster positive interactions and build relationships with the online community.

·Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.

·Track key performance metrics and generate reports on community engagement.

Social Media Monitoring:

·Identify opportunities for growth and improvement based on social media trends and competitor analysis.

Brand Advocacy:

·Identify and nurture relationships with brand advocates and influencers to amplify our social media presence.

·Encourage user-generated content and showcase customer testimonials.

TikTok:

·Work closely with the Social Media Manager & Ecom team to update and optimise TikTok Shop Seller.

·Ongoing content production in-house and working with TikTok affiliate marketing platform.

Requirements:

·1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation.

·Experience with social media platforms (e.g. Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest).

·Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Planable and Hootsuite).

  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and platform algorithms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic graphic design skills and video editing tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Edits, InShot)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse performance metrics.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for social media and staying updated on emerging trends.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Team player who can collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, design, commercial)
