Job summary

Aspiring Social Justice Officer - Learning Support Assistant role in Croydon. Milk Education is seeking a focused graduate to assist students with SEMH needs in a full-time position.

You will support pupils, help them regulate emotions, and work with therapists to implement restorative practices in a trauma-informed setting. No strict degree path required for non-graduates with relevant youth-work experience.

Qualifications

• Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth & Community Work, or related fields.
• Non-graduates with relevant experience in youth work, mentoring, or social care may apply.
• Interest in working with at-risk youth in the criminal justice context.

Responsibilities

• Support students in the classroom and learning activities.
• Help students regulate emotions, build resilience and re-engage with education.
• Use restorative practices to encourage positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff in a trauma-informed environment.
