Social Impact Report

Job purpose:

As a Social Impact Manager at Bruntwood, you’ll be responsible for delivering, measuring and monitoring the impact we generate on our live developments throughout the Bruntwood and Bruntwood SciTech portfolio.

You’ll work closely with the social impact team of three to deliver against our purpose and support the implementation of best practice, to drive the business to be as socially and environmentally minded as possible.

You’ll mainly be based at our Union office - however there will be some travel across our portfolio - particularly Bury, Stretford, Altrincham, but also Liverpool/Birmingham and Leeds when necessary.

Experience you’ll need:

  • Experience in reporting and analysing data within a Social Impact role
  • Experience of using the Social Value Portal/TOMs system , or a similar social impact measurement tool
  • Experience of designing and delivering social impact initiatives
  • A passion for commercial property and community engagement
  • A belief and commitment to delivering Bruntwood’s Purpose

What you’ll be doing:
  • Implement, deliver and measure social impact on selected live developments across Bruntwood and Bruntwood SciTech, ensuring all data is uploaded to Social Value Portal;
  • Support the Head of Purpose, Inclusion and Impact to report on our impact regularly to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure social impact alignment and record keeping via Social Value Portal;
  • Support the delivery of portfolio-wide initiatives, such as the Wishing Tree, where required;
  • Be an active advocate for the company’s social impact work, promoting our activity and inspiring the wider business;
  • Work closely with the teams across the business including Development, People, Brand and Marketing on building and promoting our impact;
  • Support on writing place-based plans and bids, when necessary;
  • Line management of the Social Impact and Partnerships Coordinator, and the Talent and Impact Coordinator.
