Job summary

WPS is seeking a Site Surveyor to support planned maintenance across occupied social housing properties in Swindon. You will survey properties, scope works, validate specifications and help set up projects for successful delivery from the outset.

Key responsibilities include surveying, preparing schedules, identifying defects, and liaising with residents and clients to ensure compliance and quality across multi-client housing programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in planned maintenance surveys across occupied properties.
• Ability to produce schedules of works and detailed specifications.
• Strong understanding of building construction and defects diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Undertake pre-work property surveys across occupied social housing stock.
• Produce schedules of works and detailed specifications.
• Identify repair requirements and compliance-related issues.
• Collaborate with Site Managers and Project Managers to support delivery.
• Assist with pricing and validation of works; manage cost variations.
• Liaise with residents and client representatives during surveying activities.
• Ensure surveys comply with company and client standards.
