Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking a Project Surveyor to oversee surveying and technical delivery of planned maintenance across Worcester, Redditch and Swindon. The role focuses on surveys, specifications, technical compliance and delivery from inception to completion.

Site-based position covering Worcester, Redditch and Swindon, supporting multi-client social housing programmes. Car allowance provided; salary, bonus scheme and wider benefits will be discussed during screening.

Qualifications

Experience delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit or decarbonisation projects.
Experience working within occupied social housing environments.
Membership of RICS, CIOB or a similar professional body desirable.

Responsibilities

Undertaking detailed property and stock condition surveys across occupied homes.
Producing specifications, schedules of works and technical reports.
Managing project variations and identifying additional works opportunities.
Supporting commercial teams with pricing, valuation and project cost control.
Carrying out quality inspections throughout project delivery.
Ensuring all works comply with client requirements, building regulations and company standards.
Identifying defects, construction issues and technical risks.
Liaising with residents, client representatives and operational teams.
Supporting programme management and project delivery targets.
Maintaining accurate records, reports and survey documentation.
Promoting a culture focused on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
